Overview

The ABC State Manager component is used to interact with abilities and receive effects. Objects require both the ABC State Manager and a collider to interact with ABC abilities.

his component also has additional functionality all related to being on the receiving end of an ability including health, text graphics that appear in game, extra tagging, stats, hit animations, death features, targeted limitations and effect diagnostic.

The State Manager component is not required to activate abilities however it is required to receive effects from abilities or be recognised by the ABC system to for example become a target of a character.

Help text can be found in the State Manager which explains what each setting can do.
